Im Nachtclub Tokoriki versammelt sich das gesamte Dorf, um Geaninas achtzehnten Geburtstag zu feiern, darunter auch ihr Freund und ihr Kollege Alin. Wo die Gefühle der Jugendlichen wirklich liegen, zeigt sich erst tief in der Nacht.

In an improvised night club called Tokoriki the whole village celebrates Geanina’s eighteenth birthday. Her boyfriend and her colleague Alin will give her a most surprising gift, one that nobody will ever forget.

Roxana Stroe, born in 1991, studied film directing at the National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. A Night în Tokoriki won the Special Prize – Generation 14plus at the Berlin International Film Festival 2016 and was part of the Future Frames selection at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2016.
