Roman und Linda formen ein Paar, welches schon lange nichts mehr verbindet – außer Bloody Marys. Sie unternehmen eine Fahrradtour in den Schweizer Bergen. Während der Tour kommt ihre Beziehung zu einem traurig-komischen Stillstand.

Roman and Linda are a couple that don't have much in common anymore besides drinking Bloody Marys. They go on a bike trip across the Swiss mountains. The couple find themselves at a crossroad and must make a choice.

ist ihr Abschlussfilm, der bei den Internationalen Kurzfilmtagen Winterthur 2014 den Publikumspreis, beim Festival del film Locarno 2014 die Auszeichnung „Best Swiss Newcomer“ und bei den Solothurner Filmtagen 2015 den Nachwuchspreis SUISSIMAGE/SSA erhielt.

Rhona Mühlebach, born 1990, from Dettighofen (CH), studied at the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne. ABSEITS DER AUTOBAHN is her graduation film, which was awarded the Audience Prize at the International Short Film Days in Winterthur 2014, the distinction of Best Swiss Newcomer at the Festival del film Locarno 2014, and the Young Talent Prize SUISSIMAGE / SSA at the Solothurn Film Festival 2015.
